It’s a paradise for nature lovers and hikers. Tourist trails lead here from Lázně Kynžvart and Mariánské Lázně. Right from the restaurant starts the popular Kladská educational trail. Many visitors also come here for game hunting.

History
It is a family restaurant of the Koles family, which we opened on 1 Feb 2019.
The U Tetřeva restaurant stands on the site of an older inn from 1869, whose original form has not been preserved. In 1877, after the completion of the neighboring hunting chateau, a new inn was built according to a design by architect Johann Meyer from Lucerne, probably by the company Parquet- & Chalet-Fabrik Interlaken from Switzerland. Initially the inn was little visited due to its remote location, as evidenced by frequent changes of tenants. Only from the 1880s, when a road from Mariánské Lázně was built here, did it become a popular stop for spa guests. The inn originally bore the name Gasthaus Glatzen, in 1881 it was known as Zum Kaiserwald, and since 1884 it has borne the name U Tetřeva to this day.
